Eucerin Aquaphor Review

Hello everyone!

I hope April has been treating you guys alright! If you're like me, you'll tend to have very dry skin around the feet area, and Eucerin has come to the rescue! Some of us have dry hands as well, this product will be good for you~

Just a disclaimer: I'm not obligated to do a blogpost for them whenever they send me a product. I do a blogpost only when I GENUINELY enjoy using the product and if I find that my experience with the product will be able to help some of you guys.

Introducing the new Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm by Eucerin!

There are various uses for the skin balm:

- Dry, cracked skin

- Prevents chafing

- Dry hands and cuticles

- Cracked heels and feet

- Skincare for minor burns

- Sensitive baby skin

- Wound Care

There are more uses for the skin balm, but I think these would be the most common ones! As you can see, it's really fit for everyone in the family. This balm includes 7 ingredients: Paraffinum Liquidum, Cera Microcristallina, Ceresin, Lanolin Alcohol (Eucerit®), Panthenol, Glycerin, Bisabolol. I may not completely understand these ingredients, but I can definitely tell you that it's formulated with no antibacterial agents, preservatives and fragrances. It does apply on relatively thick, so a very little bit goes a long way. I love that it has no scent and that it absorbs very well into the skin! I wasn't too sure about how this would sit with my skin, my first impression of it was that it was a more viscous version of your basic Vaseline balm! I was pleasantly surprised when I tried using it! So in case you're wondering how I like to use it, I apply it on my heels and on the corns/calluses on the ball of my feet and toes. The condition of my skin has definitely improved over the past month that I've been using the balm! The corns may not go away, but they're definitely a lot less dry now!

I brought one of the small tubs to Macau with me and used it through the day on my hands! My cuticles tend to get dry and flaky (gross, I know) but with the help of the soothing balm. I noticed that they didn't get flaky as fast! I'm hoping that my cuticles will stop flaking all together in future though!

Just for some reference, I do quite a bit on my nails, especially with acrylics, so my nails and cuticles will tend to be on the dry side - hence the flaky-ness. I tend to get s bit of itching after I get acrylics done, but I found that applying the balm on my cuticles after a manicure really helps. I don't have problems with itching anymore! I found that the effects of the balm on my hands and cuticles made a bigger difference as compared to my feet (possibly because I don't apply it as often and the 'affected' area is a lot bigger!

I hope you guys found this little review helpful! This balm can be found in Watsons and it's less than SGD20! I think that's pretty amazing for something so multi-functional, and the big tub will definitely last a fairly long time. I heard that this balm is also useable on the face if you have dry patches or sensitive areas after an intense facial treatment. I didn't get to test that out myself, but with what I've been using this balm for, I can definitely say it's amazing and I love it! I got my dad to try it too and he's been enjoying it's soothing and hydrating benefits!

A massive thank you to Eucerin International and Touch PR for sending me this amazing product! I'll see you guys in the next blogpost!

xx

Shayne
