Bridal Journals | Our Personal Co.

Hello everyone!

I've such exciting news today, but firstly, I'd like to thank everyone who has made a purchase during OPC's Mid Year Sale! It's extremely humbling to know that the business is supported in the local community and I'm just really grateful. In today's blogpost, I will be talking about a product that has launched on the OPC website a few days back: Bridal Journals! I decided to create this a few months back because I’ve also started my wedding plans, and figured that some brides-to-be would need something like this for their big day! Similarly to my monthly planners, I decided to create a basic layout, and have add-ons.

Some of the features that the journals come with include appointment trackers, budget trackers, vendor shortlists, timelines and to-do lists! I thought it was important to keep track of such things because there are just a million things to think about when you're planning your big day, especially if you did not hire a wedding planner. Personally, the budget is absolute key because you'll be able to decide what can or cannot be done for your big day, and it also helps you to narrow down your vendors too. It's important that you and your partner decide on the budget together because after all, the wedding is a union between the both of you! I find that having a Pinterest board is very helpful when it comes to visualising what your ideal wedding would look like! I've personally had a few wedding Pinterest boards and they have sort of changed here and there, but that's normal!

I've decided to create various add-ons for more detailed planning! I've got quote pages, spreads for planning your ROM, Honeymoon and even your pre-wedding photoshoot! I also thought having a few creative spaces such as colour swatches or even a space for you to sketch away or paste some photos would be helpful if you're going for something more bespoke! I know weddings are somewhere at the back of a lot of people's minds due to the current COVID-19 situation, but planning for your big day is essential, and planning doesn't have to stop! I personally took a break from planning my own big day during the circuit breaker and it made me realise that I should have at least revisited the planning and do more research on potential vendors so that I could reach out to them this month! So, please learn from my mistakes! Haha

I hope you guys enjoyed this little snippet of a blogpost, do check the OPC website out, sign up for our mailing list for a cheeky 10% off and give us a little follow on instagram! I'll see you in my next blogpost!

xx
