March Box Review | #NoMakeNoLife

Hello everyone! If you've been following me on instagram, you'd know I received my March Box from No Make No Life about three-four weeks ago and it's now time for the reviews! I know it's April right now but I didn't really wanna swarm you guys with so many blogposts! This month's theme is 'Vibrant Vibes' and as I mentioned in my IGTV video, I think this box wasn't as full as last month's, though they still sent 8 items, so I'm guessing this month's items weren't as 'bulky'. I'll admit this month's products seemed more fascinating (from first impressions) though!

You can watch the unboxing video on my IGTV via this link! :D

Cake Hand Cream in Pink Berry by BK7

This hand cream smells like a dream and I LOVE IT. I think it's quite clear that I've an obsession with hand creams. I'll be honest and say nothing beats the grapefruit hand cream that I got in my previous NMNL box, but this is definitely and amazing hand cream. It's definitely a sweet scent, but it's also quite fresh. It's not sticky at all which I really appreciate. I find the packaging a little more bulky than most hand creams, so I will not be bringing this around with me. This range of hand creams contain ingredients that help to brighten, prevent aging and protect your skin as well! And if you're curious, it also comes in Blueberry and Banana!

Animal Mask in Blackberry Panda by Berrisom

There were other scents for this mask:

Sheep - Vitamin C + Arbutin

Cat - collagen

Dog - hyaluronic acid

Recently, my skin has been a lot more on the dehydrated side, so I think the collagen one would have been ideal. Then again, the Panda one was pretty good too! I felt very refreshed and the scent was very pleasant! I just kept this on my face for about 15-20 mins and then pat in the rest of the serum into my skin! I preferred the previous mask they sent a little more because this one left a little bit of stickiness!

Look At My Eyes Eye Shadow in RD307 by Etude House

I know I said that I wasn't sure if I would like this eyeshadow because I don't really like reds/maroons/purples on my eyes. But I used this for my recent lookbook and I actually liked how my makeup turned out! I feel this colour suits fairer skin tones a lot better because I'm quite tanned.

Formula wise, I think it'd pretty decent. It blends easily and it builds up pretty well. I won't say it's very pigmented as compared to urban decay's shadows, but this is still a very decent eyeshadow. I'm not the biggest fan of individual shadows like this though! I personally prefer palettes, better still if they are customisable of course. I don't think this is a shade you'd wear on it's own, so you'd definitely have to pack a few more shadows if you're travelling with this!

Candy Lip Tint in Coral by BK7

I honestly did not expect to enjoy this lip tint so much, but I really did! Not the biggest fan of the packaging, but the tint itself is really lovely! I love the scent of it (it literally smells like candy) and the colour is pretty nice! It's a lot darker than what I'm used to for sure, but it's a nice change. The formula works well in general, not too drying and the staying power is decent. I tend to have dryer lips so I like to put a bit of lip balm before a lip tint!

Wavy Hair Curler Set

First attempt at using this wasn't too great. In fact, I really hated these because they weren't comfortable or super easy to use (it could possibly be my layered hair that caused the inconvenience) These are soft foam so they're pretty fiddly and flimsy. I had to keep arranging my hair and I had to be careful incase the curlers popped out. Needless to say.. I didn't really bother giving these a go overnight because they'd 100% fall out of my hair and my hair would be ruined for the day. Then again, I know some people might really like these, so if any of you have tips on how to make these more comfortable.. let me know!

Mineral Ion Hairbrush in Pink

Thi hairbrush is meant to stimulate hair growth by providing blood circulation, honestly, I'm not too sure about the benefits from this brush! It contains natural mineral ores that radiate far infrared rays which nourish and repair hair while brushing too which is actually pretty cute! I didn't exactly notice and specific difference in my hair, but it does comb a lot easier! Plus I like the size of this little brush too!

Facial Cleansing Brush

I saw this in Tokyu Hands the other day and it's apparently great for cleansing pores by gently removing dirt, thus improving the appearance of pores. I have a Clarisonic face brush and it's been working well for me so far, but I still wanted to give this a go!

The bristles are soft and they really do go into your pores. I won't recommend applying too much pressure on your face when you use this brush. Gentle circular motions are the best as you don't want to pull or injure your skin!

Colour Mascara in Blue by Crayon Touch Me

I've no idea when I'd use this because I don't usually use mascara, let alone blue mascara! I might consider doing a whole new look around this mascara and see what crazy thing I can come up with. Perhaps this could be a new crazy make up video aye?

That's the last of the products that came in the March box! I hope you guys enjoyed this blogpost! I'll see you in my next one!

xx
